The plastic cover has a horizontal line on it corresponding to the packaging flap that was not visible until it was placed on the ipad. Too much pressure on the package when sealed or stored transfered a crease from the sleeve to the package. 2nd Griffin product for the ipad that failed, the first being the ipad stand loop that is too slippery to hald the device in the stand. Ipad slowly slides out of stand when motionless, any vibration hastenes it.

lols – taking the backing off and then flipping over the protector like that is a recipe for collecting all the dust in the air above and causing immovable bubbles. The smallest speck of dust can cause a medium to large sized bubble. You’re supposed to place the protector down with the backing on, just rolled back (curled) underneath so you can pull the backing out from underneath. Even then it’s very difficult to do this and stay lined up.
