The US already has thousands of military robots and unmanned aircraft in Afghanistan. As for the prospect of killer robots stalking the battlefield Russia is catching up, with a Russian team building one too.

I like the future, it will bring so many new and exciting ways we can kill each other

soon, in a couple of years the robots will be developed much further than at the moment..you need controller to controll them, soon they will control themselves like humans lol, it’s inevitably! in my opinion, this is perhaps the begining of the robots ^^ in 10 years or more, the robots in the movies will be exactly the same, people may say i watch too many movies but as I said this is inevitably.

@NinjaTTT I don’t want to hear any thing the French say. In WW1 a French general had said that planes would just serve merely as toys that they would have no practical use on the battle field. HaHa

  • NinjaTTT:

What if I hack in aircraft drones?! What antivirus software does it have? XD

  • NinjaTTT:

Heh, no wonder why older experienced soldiers in French legion call todays soldiers a “playstation soldiers”….

  • Takiado:

also, I doubt they use robots very often over there… these people think its the way of the future, but people are still dying and getting shot/blown up… because they DONT have a fucking robot army. And even if we had robots to fight, it would make no sense because it would just balance out, the only way to uneven the clashing of metal is to engage real humans to outweigh the battle… or build more bots the enemy which is just idiotic. wars have been fake for about 100 years anyways.

  • Takiado:

btw the droids in the movie clip of star wars are known to be one of the worst droids. Getting inspiration from that is going to end up in disaster.

  • mikesoja:

@FANTOMTRON “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other guy die for his.”
    ― George S. Patton Jr

We are moving towards a way of war that seeks to benefit from technological advantage
by substituting it for manpower in achieving victory. When required to kill we should not seek the “fair fight” or the glory of close combat, and instead shamelessly seek to destroy
adversaries with as little risk to ourselves as possible.

  • powerone1:

@STDrepository. Where are you getting your information from?

  • FANTOMTRON:

i hate un manned drones. Stop being such pussies and fight like real mean. Everyone likes to fucking camp

  • moistfaucet:

It does not matter what Robot, if it can not be self aware, it will become a very good looking trash can.

  • m44ever:

I hope they will be always remote controlled, because AI can not be trusted enough to put someones live into it.
