Question by YaNkEes!!!: Do you need something extra with an old xbox for the kinect? I keep hearing that if you have one of the old 360′s, that you need to have some kind of extra power adapter. Is this true? If it is, where do I get it at?

I’m smack dab in the middle of my HTC Evo 4G LTE review (the full review will be up tomorrow), but as I judge, I felt the need to bring John Biggs into the mix for a little Fly or Die.
Now, John is notoriously hard on Android phones, namely because they’re all incredibly similar. The Evo 4G LTE is no different. I, on the other hand, think it brings some pretty strong design language to the table, which could be great for someone looking to stand out.
I’m impressed with how comfortable the 4.7-inch 720p display is on the phone — usually that’s much bigger than I like (perfect “that’s what she said” moment, since you can’t say it yourself). But despite the fact that I threw out 25GB of free Dropbox storage, Beats Audio, and HTC’s Sense overlay, John still could not be impressed.
And to be honest with you guys, neither could I. Evo is a huge name to Sprint customers, but the yellow carrier has beefed up its offerings to now include the Galaxy Nexus and the iPhone 4S. Those are major competitors, which should crowd the shelves that the Evo line once dominated.

Because what good is Satan if you can’t chain him under a grill in the back of a truck and use his heat to cook some burgers, the 666 Burger foodtruck in New York is offering a $ 666 ‘Douche Burger’, beating the previous record holder for world’s most expensive burger by over $ 350 (previous record was $ 295). That…I’d have to sell my soul to afford that. BOOM — satanic tie-in.
Thrillist describes the Douche Burger as “a $ 666 edible fiscal disaster that piles caviar, lobster & truffles on top of a foie-stuffed, gold-leaf-wrapped Kobe patty, smothers it with Gruyere melted with Champagne steam, and finishes it off with BBQ sauce made using Kopi Luwak coffee that’s passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Palm Civet.”
First of all, there’s no such thing as Kobe beef in the United States . Secondly, that doesn’t even sound good. You know what it sounds like? “A stomach ache and then uncontrollable, explosive diarrhea nowhere near a bathroom?” *fist-bump* We’ve all been there.

On Friday May 18th, Apple filed a motion for a U.S. preliminary injunction against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1. This follows a ruling by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (Northern District of California), siding with Apple on the question of whether Samsung is in violation of an iPad-related design patent (U.S. Patent No. D504,889). According to Foss Patents, the source of this story, the request could be valid and is likely to be upheld.
Samsung has until May 25th at high noon to respond. (OK not really…about the high noon thing).
What does it mean though? Will the Galaxy Tab 10.1 disappear from U.S. shores if Apple emerges victoriously with their injunction?
Not necessarily.
First of all, let’s remember the sheer scale of Samsung. They have the legal and financial fortitude to at least see this thing all the way through.
Secondly, a valid ruling doesn’t spell the end of the line, but more likely a technical redesign. However this could definitely affect revenues because of necessary manufacturing changes but it doesn’t mean a Coup De Grace on the line.
Foss paints the picture as more of an embarrassment for Samsung.
