After debating whether to get this case or the more expensive one that is available, I decided to give this one a shot. I am glad I did. This case is very well made of soft leather with nice even stitching and finished edges. The front of the case is padded and has a stiff insert to help protect the screen. The snap out kick stand works well; I have watched a little bit of video with it. There are a couple of slots inside the front cover that look like they could fit business cards. I suppose you could use them to store a couple of extra micro SD cards. I wouldn’t put too much in them because I am always concerned about creating pressure points that might damage the screen. Micro SD cards are so small that might not be an issue here. One touch that I find handy is a slot in the spine for a PDA-type stylus. It could stand to be a little deeper; the stylus sticks out 6-7mm. The A5IT is a nice snug fit so it is unlikely it could accidentally slide out in use. Obviously the device is completely contained with the cover closed.
If there is one thing I would prefer to have a little different is that one corner of the device is slightly vulnerable. A tad more leather extending just a bit would have provided slightly more protection. The other three corners have more protection. I just tend to be concerned about protecting the corners of devices.
One other slight quibble is not so much a problem with the case as just an unavoidable compromise between the case design and the device accelerometer. The case is designed to be more functional when using the device horizontally. If you turn the device to vertical as I prefer for ebooks, the device is right side up, but the case is “upside down”. This is not a problem as far as holding the device; the closure tab actually rests in the crook of your thumb and forefinger. I actually grip the tab lightly to help support the device. It is quite comfortable and functional; it just seems odd to have the stylus sticking down and know that the inside slots/pockets are upside down. If
