Question by : Can you record video on Kinect, as if it were a normal Video Camera?
I was wondering if you can record video on Kinect, of you like dancing, or running around or something, and maybe it saves on the xBox, that you can play back?
Like as if it were a normal camera. Is there a way..?
I don’t need it for YouTube or anything, just for playback to watch later.

Certain games have a record functionality, and there is video chat, but nothing so far to just record your self.

If you’re interested in opensource and using the SDK, you can. I use mine for skyping on my PC and playing games as well. In other words, with a bit of technological knowledge and some basic skills you can get it to do it. Just email me or similar and I’ll help you out.
However it also depends on whether or not you have just the Kinect without the Slim 360 or the bundle because of the adapter.
