The saddest to me is Pertwee-T. Baker, because it’s quiet, subtle and the Doctor acts like the Doctor. The worst is Tennant-Smith because Davies completely misses the point of the regeneration scene and the Doctor acts like completely out of character, the only good thing was when Smith came in.

The way it just jumps from sad to silly….just makes it all the more sad for me.

  • DeoCakeFace:

    Same here.

  • johnhamilton08:

it didn’t make me sad it made me mad because that is not how it should be done. Nothing wrong with being sad, the problem is that Davies forced an emotion be didn’t let things play out and he completely missed the point of the regeneration scene.

  • johnhamilton08:

it will be fine, the show is called Doctor Who not The David Tennant show.

  • hombad26:

It’s going to be more than okay, it’s going to be cool, as the 11th would say.

  • Curl9x:

I only started to watch doctor who about 2 months ago (I’m Dutch, I haven’t been living under a stone) and I’m no halfway through the last season with David Tennant and I’m really upset about the idea of seeing a new doctor in the next series :’(. Can anyone please tell me it’s going to be ok?

    :(
No really, you could go your life never seeing or not knowing a thing about Doctor Who but that the 10th-11th regeneration will still make you sad

  • TheSuperPixu:

the David tennat – Matt Smith regenerstion is the “saddest”… well the start was sad, but the end was funny/wierd…. for my opinion Colin Baker is the worst Doctor. but i havent seen Paul McCann as doctor, all else i have…

I may be wrong, but since the order of the time lords is all but gone after the time war, there is no limit on regeneration, henceforth making the doctor borderline immortal. Just what wikipedia says though.

  • joelschelfhout1999:

Ive seen the 8th doctors regeneration to the 9th doctor

  • joelschelfhout1999:

There all sad to see them leave

  • hombad26:

Other Doctors met more people and change more lives, but they didn’t whine about their regeneration.

  • johnhamilton08:

But he’s still the same man. Yeah he doesn’t have the EXACT same personality, but he has the same memories and morals, so again I’ve stated this before him complaining about his “death” is just plain stupid.

  • jonh65499:

i get that ten is sad after all he met so many people changed so many lives and said goodbye to everyone before dying because he knew that he will never be the same and the phrase “I don’t want to go” is the phrase everyone said “WE don’t want you to go

  • hombad26:

I recommend you start watching from the serial Spearhead from Space.

  • salsaguy12:

So I’m about to start watching this serie, and I’ve been wondering.
Should I start watching from the first episodes in the 60′s, or is there a better place to start watching?
