@PineconeEater it’s our human player who got the real action
@Cuyir maybe not, but the championships sure were!
WOW!!!! That’s robot was so cool !
like a “get points machine”
@PineconeEater i know right? you dont have to do anything
I’m blown away by this. Fantastic job red alliance!! You guys dominated!
Nice job, but don’t that States will be so simple…
-Cuyir, Team 67
The only way to really prevent this is to get in that position before they do. In autonomous mode, just drive into the spot from middle start. You don’t take a penalty as long as you dont cross the line fully and it prevents them from getting that spot. Then you just defend that spot from them throughtout the match
Hech even if it did get penalized for all the points it’s scored it wouldn’t even matter
omg. thats such a grey area. they really examined the rules to figure out if that was legal or now.
Wow, thats amazing.
@AZNkommander They thought up the idea for their robot and your team could have done the same thing. So they worked hard and came up with that idea and look where they are now. In third place in the state.
haha. yeah. if they’re destroying gracious professionalism, what are you doing with this comment? at least try to act like you understand FIRST values before you go smashing other teams.
@AZNkommander
Let me rephrase that. My team would’ve had a better chance at winning if it hadn’t been for these guys.
@saikodetsu55 yea good call
Yeah, my team had the same idea, and I was on the team to design it. But in the first week of planning, we decided to give up on the idea altogether, in the spirit of FIRST.
My team, Team 288, just played with these guys earlier today in the Troy District Competition. Our Alliance during the Elimination Rounds, which included Teams 33, 288 and 910, probably would’ve won in the Finals if it hadn’t been for these guys. Still, this is a devilishly brilliant robot.
exactly my point. my comment was sarcasm. I dont know what could be fun about simply watching. not to mention they wouldnt score if they didnt have another great offensive team on their alliance. cut them off at the source and there wont be balls coming down the track.
@PineconeEater honestly this isnt driving….. anyone could push a button that moves the chute to the left or the right…. their autonomous drives it right in to the tunnel anyways so there takes no skill to “drive” this the only enjoyment a driver might get is getting a birds eye view of them destroying the meaning of the competition………Gracious professionalism…..
@w7ov Looks like it was worth it though…
Go team 1690
wat are the rules that they seemingly defied?
MIDWEST regionals were SOM MUch MORE intense!
That robot that block the balls coming of the rolling thing was a genius idea. lol
Wow
Wow, that was AMAZING not very gracios but AMAZING!
