We’ve given you the first plot details and pictures on Friday, but now the first trailer for Resident Evil: Afterlife (aka Resident Evil 4) is online. It’s pretty cool (well, it shows more of the same), mentioning the movie was filmed with the “James Cameron / Vincent Pace Fusion Camera System”, the “World’s Most Advanced 3D Technology”.
The movie will hit American theaters (both 3D and conventional) on September 10.

When I was younger I was I huge fan of the games. I stopped playing videos games right after I passed Resident Evil 4. I never beat code veronica x. The game play on those games is so difficult. Any who. I agree that they should of followed. The game’s story line. It really upsets my as a fan of the games. That last one (3rd movie) really really sucked. It was so boring and lame. Not that the second one was great either. Paul S. Anderson. Sucks C***k. Hopefully he’ll have a good storyline this time around.
i agree they strayed frm the game but at the same time a movie plot is very different to a game plot, in the first game they followed jill valentine in the mansion and didnt reveal much as to how it staryed where as in the first movie they had to recreate it to explain the plot, i think they stuck very well to the second game in the movie, yes alice was never a character in the game but it gave it a plot ans made it interesting and a more realistic view, ive always been a massive fan of the games and have played them since i can remeber and yes they did get ridiculous like the degeneration movie tht was animated but u couldnt build a movie and stick to the story exactly u have to change it, but overall i think theyve done very well

Not really sure what you’re saying. You both imply that you’ve never played the game and that you’ve played the game.
Anyway, as a person who has REALLY never played the game, I can say I agree that the movies get worse from 1 to 3 – especially 3. Suddenly she has super powers? Where the heck does THAT come from? It’s not explained at all.
Anyway, I agree, sort of. Just my opinion.

Freakin awesome.
The movies are just getting worse and worse. Don’t get me wrong I love watching the movies as a person who never played the game. But I’m a major gamer. They put resident evil 5 monsters in a movie where none of these charactures ever faced; let alone was in the game. It might be a good movie but it hurts me how they took this amazing game and just went the wrong way with the movies. They should of just followed the games and then I would of been a better fan of the movies.
