    wii fanboy? i think so

  • RhysWood:

    @sapzap96 My thoughts exactly.

  • odetofall1:

    @Envy987001 But, saying that the Wii doesn’t work is just pure fanboy talk…

  • odetofall1:

    @Envy987001 Do you think Sony executives woke up one day and said “hey, we should make a motion control system, because no one has ever tried that yet”? No, they want a piece of what the Wii has done in the market. Face it, the Wii is wildly successful due to functunality and appeal, and Sony is merely going along with the fad. They are not trying to be innovative or original. The Wii is still a top seller, and for some strange reason you can’t accept that. Will the Move work? Probably, but…

  • Envy987001:

    @odetofall1 Untrue? Thats bas and you know it. Its success is based on a lie that their games revolve around the motion controls, Which they don’t, and the ones that do suck. Mario Galaxy? No motion controls there cept for stupid shit, Mariokart? The motion controls ruin the game. And you bring the Six-axis into this? It was ment as a small feature and they didn’t say anything more. Sure lair was a failure, but nearly every game on the wii that has motion is a failure, or is lack luster.

  • odetofall1:

    @Envy987001 Huh, time lag? I don’t think you have ever played the Wii. Well, it’s not like Sony has ever failed at motion control, right? Oh wait, the Six Axis had motion control, and yeah that was very successful? Look I have all the systems this generation, and all the consoles have ups and downs. To say that the Wii has not been function until recently is disregarding Nintendo’s success. I’m sure the PS Move will be fun, but there is no need to put down the Wii for things that are untrue.

  • Altar360:

    @alwaysmaxi1 well, the idea is that unlocking the fatalities are supposed to be a secret. Back in the days of arcades, only a few would crack the combination to the fatality, those select few would automaticaly be cool cuz they know the cryptic code, but now with internet, anybody can get it

  • Envy987001:

    @odetofall1 yeah, instantly linked and working with no time lag, where an entire games option can actually rely on the motions given. Wait, nvm that doesn’t sound familiar

  • odetofall1:

    @Envy987001 Ya, the PS3 is going to be much different. I mean, there are two remotes you hold on each hand, and you wave your hands around to make things move. Wait, that sounds familiar…

  • Envy987001:

    @odetofall1 Wii Sport=waving the wii mote and nunchuck around for each game

  • odetofall1:

    @alwaysmaxi1 one of the cool things about MK is the mystery behind the fatalities, but I think you are right…

  • odetofall1:

    @Envy987001 So the Move proved it works even before it has been released? That’s amazing! I guess Wii sports was a fictional conspiracy that never occured….

  • Envy987001:

    @RemoveCarefully
    Fuck that, Nintendo didn’t even use their motion controls and wasn’t even perfected when it first came out. There was just a lense at the top that acted as a pointer and a gimmicky half-assed motion control that they just recently made viable with more complex movements, 3 YEARS AFTER THEY RELEASED THE SYSTEM! Now the move has already proven that it works like that and better straight out of the box. Be innovative? More like be compedent.

  • omnimon64:

    @PlaneteReview atleast im not the one lickin. lol

  • zarien85:

    dlc an mk great will buy the game

  • NeoGamingZone:

    Destin reminds me of the Irate Gamer

  • PlaneteReview:

    @omnimon64 yes, and the person who complain about it is usually the one who gets his penis licked

  • powerpc127:

    Wait for the developers to come up with good games for Kinect? Isn’t that what they said about the wii?… It’s a little discouraging when Microsoft can’t even find good uses for their own tech. Same goes for Sony. I might play Sorcery, but I sure as hell wouldn’t pay upwards of $150 to play it. I think R&D people should start with a good idea for how to make motion controls work in games, then build a controller around that, not build a crazy controller and wait for ideas.

  • ChrisSniped:

    Well, think about it this game Destin, PS3 came out with shitty content for like the first couple of months, but now it actually has something to live up too, but not the Playstation Move.

  • jimmyboy2021:

    @BlueYoshiGamer just because it sucks to play games on, doesn’t mean it’s going to fail for watching movies & tv. I won’t have to move, all I will have to say is Kinect, play back door sluts 9, and i don’t have to take my hand out of my pants :)

  • datboyjoshua:

    @omnimon64 52 thumbs up nice

  • sapzap96:

    @RemoveCarefully

    pretty much. though i do like the idea of playing Killzone 3 with it. Instead of playing KZ3 with one gimmick (3D), I can play it with another /sarcasm

  • canuckleful:

    Wish he spoke slower…

  • Boviking:

    I bet the kinect must’ve taken AGES to program.

    I mean, it’s hard enough to make a simple thing such as a map in a normal RTS/FPS. But to make a thing that can take up any human movements to react to a game. How did they manage to do that? It’s amazing really. I’d like to see some of it’s bashers try making one of its kind.

    Hating the kinect for having “childish/casual” games is really just judging it by the cover. Think of what they had to do to get it to work, and what can be done.
