Do I have to buy anything besides the sensor? I don’t need the whole Kinect box since I already have the Xbox 360 right?

All you need is the Kinect

since you have an Xbox 360, you won’t need the extra wire/cord thing
The extra wire/cord is only needed if you have the older Xbox
If you have the new xbox 360 slim then all you need is the sensor and of course plug it in to the outlet lol. But if you have a white xbox 360 or elite then you need some sort of adapter that comes with the kinect sensor in the box.
The Kinect is basically a sensor. So if you have the 360 all you need to get Kinect is the Kinect.

You need a television, a body (preferably complete with arms/legs), some source of electricity, the cables used to connect the xbox to the tv and outlet . . . oh, and the Kinect sensor.
