@imafn the xoom is bulkier and heavier and the camera is worse plus the screen is slightly more washed out. Although, I would return my tab for a xoom since I don’t use it on the go.
is there any application pre-installed through which we can edit, view and create ppt, excel and microsoft office files ???

Sounds like you need to change the battery in your smoke detector.
