@jamit141 I also agree. I’m no Apple fanboy this is in no way better than the the iPad 2. I was expecting the honeycomb to be amazing too but in vain. And that “new” incognito feature made me laugh – firefox had this for years now.

i agree the ipad is on top still. i thought honeycomb on the xoom would kill it but after watching the demos,…my honest opinion is ipad is better. i’m curious though to see how the hp touchpad will do against the ipad. web OS looks amazing on a tablet.

too bad this thing has problems even playing videos. All the demos also are on video as none of that stuff is really working yet. By the way it wil cost as much of an ipad. Android still has ways to go to catch up.

Sorry, meant 3.5″ but still its too small. Not saying that Achos was so much better (4.8″) but the bigger the better in this case. Ipod did delvier the superior quality but didnt have those small feature like mic. So you could make Skype calls untill 2gen when extended mic was supported. Those are my sole reson counting it as a tablet or as they did release it as a “Internet Media Tablet.”

True, Windows 7′s toch support is not the finest nor the best, especially with the drivers. But touch for Win 7 is an inbuilt feature, even for desktop. So they installed a Win7 on a small computre mounted on a touch screen but it worked good not counting the 3 hours use time.
But I would count Acrhos as a Tablet due to its got a bigger screen and a lot of small features like microphone and GPS and such (vs old Ipod from same gen). Its not that fun to browse on a 3″ screen.
@Alex090 Pardon me since I said what I said hastily. Windows has had multi-touch for a long time, but it was just implemented horribly. Yup they did support the internet however they just ported the desktop browsers to support touch versus the iPad using iOS (a Touch OS). Archos did come up with a “Tablet” but come on. That “tablet” is more of an iPod Touch Media Player competitor than a real tablet. If the Archos Internet Tablet can be called a tablet then so can an iPod Touch.
