Sony is helping to heat up the e-book reader price wars. It has now dropped the prices on its three current models. The Pocket Edition was $169 and is now $149, while the Touch Edition drops from $199 to $169, and the 3G Daily Edition is now $299 from $349.
It should be noted that this still leaves Sony a bit behind the competition: the Pocket Edition lacks WiFi unlike the similarly-priced Nook and the Daily Edition will be hard to sell even at $299.
