This is the recently discovered poodle moth photographed by taxonomist Dr Arthur Anker during a recent trip to Venezuela. Poodle moth isn’t its official name though, that’s just what people are calling it until it can be properly classified. *eying picture* I vote for Wampa moth. Or cuddle bunny. Just saying, that thing does look like a great cuddler. Be my big spoon?
Thanks to PYY, who agrees the best animals are the furry ones and turtles.
Let’s face it: everyone, deep down in their coal-black hearts, is a furry. Except — EXCEPT — for me an all the normal f***ing people who are actually scalies/featheries. CAW, CAW! This is a pair of homemade animatronic cat ears similar to the Neurowear ones except these ones aren’t mind controlled, you have to push buttons. The poor man’s animatronic cat ears, if you will. “I won’t.” Neither will I. How about you and I go knock back some beers at the bar and reminisce about the good ol’ days before animatronic cat ears? “So like, last week?” Last week is a little hazy to me, it’s gonna have to be more recent than that. “Yesterday?” Still nothing — how about this morning? I think I had a cup of coffee. “You don’t remember anything before lunch, do you?” It’s after lunch?!
Hit the jump for a VERY emotive girl giving the ears a run through their paces, and a link to the Instructable to build your own.Related Posts:
A second HTC phone to escape the netherworld of disputed renders has just been discovered. This touchscreen slate for Verizon lacking a front-side camera was last seen in the Pocketnow leak but is now snuggled up with a Harrods bear in a Chinese user forum. How cozy. Better yet, we’ve now got a view of the Droid-Incrediblish backside showing a dual-LED flash. Again, no detail to confirm but we’ll bet it’s announced with Android at a Mobile World Congress press event in February.

I don’t know about you, but I find animal rugs with the head attached to be very disturbing decor. Unless it’s a Wampa of course. As you can see by the image above, it’s great for lounging around on a winter’s night by the fire, with your slave Leia.
The 62 x 30-inch rug is made of synthetic fur and has a non-slip backing. Only $100. Slave Leia not included. Sadly. Besides, that would be mixing movies. No respectable geek would mix an ESB creature with a ROJ Leia outfit. The rest of us don’t mind.
