Remember Little Golden Books? Those things were awesome and the perfect length for an afternoon potty sesh. Now? Now I sit there in pain for like an hour asking myself why the hell I eat the things I do. Animator Joebot has created a small series of video games (Bioshock, Portal and Skyrim) imagined as Little Golden Books. I’m especially fond of the Bioshock one, but I’m especially fond of Bioshock in general. If Rapture really existed, I would live there, and I would be its king. Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform is finally getting Temple Run. After promising it would launch in time for the holidays, Temple Run arrives a few months late into the Windows Phone Store this week alongside some other new additions. However, this is isn’t the latest Temple Run 2 game. Instead, it’s the original version that launched on iOS 18 months ago and it doesn’t take advantage of Microsoft’s Xbox Live platform. If Temple Run had managed to launch ahead of the second version then it would have been seen as a triumph, but now the wait continues for Windows Phone to catch up again.

Microsoft says it will provide affected users with an automatic one-month extension to the company’s Xbox Live gold service following an outage related to a Cloud Saved Games feature. Everyone impacted by the outage will get the free extension after the cloud feature dropped offline for many late last week. Following a two-day outage over the weekend, Microsoft’s engineers had “been working around the clock to get the issues resolved,” according to the company.

Question by Not so sure: Can you play windows phone games without cellphone subscription? I have a little goal where i get all achievements for every assassins creed game but one of them is on the windows phone and i dont want the phone because the iphone is ten times better in everyway (exaggertionally speaking) is it possible to buy the phone then play the games on wifi without cellphone service required ? BTW money is not an issue for me.
