Note: Video is graphic blood-wise and song does have dirty words, so make sure to call everybody in your office over and watch at full volume.

This is a film short/music video directed by Ilya Naishuller for the Biting Elbows song ‘Bad Motherf***er’. It’s the second point-of-view video in a series (first one HERE) that has to do with like some sort of teleportation device and beating up evil Ruskies and being an all around badass. Dude reminds me a lot of myself. Dude reminds me nothing of myself. If video games looked like this I wouldn’t be sitting here writing Geekologie right now, I’ll tell you that. Hell, video games don’t look anything like this yet and I still have God of War on pause right now.

Hit the jump for the video (Vimeo and Youtube) and pretend YOU ARE THAT GUY.

Sony's Ultra High Definition TV will come with world's first 4K delivery system

If there’s $ 25,000 or so burning a hole in your pocket and room in your living room for Sony’s 84-inch XBR-84X900 Ultra HDTV, but you’re worried about a lack of 4K res content to play on it, allows us to put your mind at ease. Sony’s Ray Hartjen has picked up the blogging pen and revealed each of the supersized sets will ship with “the world’s first 4K Ultra HD delivery solution, complete with pre-loaded, native 4K entertainment.” There’s no specifics on what the pack-in content will be (or what form the “delivery system” will take), but he says it will include full length feature Hollywood productions exclusive to purchasers, probably courtesy of Sony Pictures. We’re told to expect more details after Turkey day, so stay tuned.

samsung ultra touch ultrabook official 640

Samsung is taking the wraps off its 13-inch Series 5 Ultra Touch Windows 8 ultrabook today, and at a starting price of $ 809.99 for the Core i3 version, it’s one of the more reasonably-priced machines we’ve seen so far. An extra $ 50 will buy you a Core i5 processor upgrade, but otherwise, both models will have the same 1366×768 display, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB hard drive with 24GB of ExpressCache — Samsung’s term for high-speed solid state storage directly on the logic board. The Series 5 Ultra Touch isn’t breaking any records with its 3.83-pound weight, but it’s not bad for a machine with a spinning hard drive.

The company also took a minute to touch on its renamed Ativ Smart PC 500T and 700T Windows 8 tablets, which will be…

More Info

The PC industry might have 100-some-odd Ultrabooks up its sleeve, but fortunately for restless tech reviewers like yours truly, they’re not all cast from the same mold. As the year wears on, we’ll see prices dip as low as $ 700, and a few will be offered with discrete graphics — a nice respite from games handicapped at 30 fps. And, in some rare cases, you’ll find machines that manage to achieve both. Enter the Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M5 series, a pair of 14- and 15-inch laptops that start at $ 680, and, for an added premium, can be had with NVIDIA Kepler graphics. What’s more, the 14-inch model we tested has a DVD burner, making it as much a full-fledged laptop as an Intel-approved Ultrabook. Accordingly, then, we’ll be comparing it not just to other low-priced ultraportables, but to some budget mainstream notebooks on offer this back-to-school season. So how does it stack up? Let’s see.

AMAZON UK DISCOUNT LINK www.amazon.co.uk Customer Reviews: “It’s funny, every other review talks about using it in the Samsung Note, S2 or a another high end smartphone or tablet. All I have is a humble Galaxy Ace, not even the Plus. I have to say that this card works perfectly :-) ! Formatted in the phone, filled from my laptop using the adapter, not a problem. I don’t understand write/read speeds and all that stuff. I just know it does exactly what I want and that’s to store ALL my music and play it And store more than a couple of films. My phone is now my mp3/4 player: one less electronic item to carry around. Why do these companies keep saying their phones will only work with up to 32Gb cards? Is it because 64Gb never existed before? And it’s another reason for not buying an Iphone: I can increase my storage without buying a new phone! Or paying for a ‘cloud’. Happy days.” “This is an excellent upgrade for my HTC Sensation, not only for the additional capacity but also for the phone’s performance, as the card it replaced was an old type 2 32Gb card, this is noticeably quicker particularly when executing apps from the SD card. It’s also significantly quicker when loading data, I noticed a transfer rate of approx 8MB per second via a USB adaptor. One thing to note, format the card using your phone prior to loading data, formatting with windows defaults to exFAT which is not recognised by the HTC.” “Who ever thought they would squeeze 64gb onto a card the size of a Video Rating: 0 / 5
