When we placed LG’s Optimus L7 into the palm of our reviewer, they found the handset to be stylish, with a cracking display, excellent battery life and a (then) up-to-date version of Android. Sadly, the party ended after that — with sluggish internals that can’t cope with the company’s UI tweaks, weak touchscreen and a lackluster camera. But we’re fairly sure our review didn’t dissuade all of you from buying one of these, so to those people we ask the following: what, if you were Mr. and Mrs. LG, would you have done differently?

How would you change the Nexus 7

Google’s Nexus 7 has a rather colorful life story. It started out as the ASUS MeMO ME370T, until a sharp-eyed Google executive decided that it was ripe for a Mountain View makeover. When Andy Rubin and friends were done, it had Android 4.1, whip-smart internals and, best of all, it cost under $ 200. As such, it’s perfect, right? Well, that’s what we want to know. We’ve been toting these units around since last summer, and that means it’s high time we asked you what you loved, hated, and more importantly — what would you change?

How would you change Acers Iconia Tab a700

When we handed Acer’s Iconia Tab to our tame tablet reviewer, they were bewildered by its 1,920 x 1,200 display. While it may have been easy to use, quick and lovely to look at, it was also a bit on the hefty side, with its meager battery not helping. So then, six months down the line, we’re asking you to sound off about what you liked and loathed about this device, because we’re fairly sure the Acers of this world are listening.

Question by Juan: How many of you think that in 2012 Smart TVs would be affordable? I wonder if I could afford the 2012 LG ultra smart TV. I saw reviews on CES that LG had unveiled its largest 84” ultra definition smart 3d TV. Any idea about its cost?

Best answer:

Answer by Corvatothey havn’t announced prices yet, but likely any 84″ display will be extemely expensive.

Samsung sells a similar model (actually only 82″) and it sells for over $ 50,000

How would you change the 15inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display

Many will bristle at the implication, but as the MacBook Air inspired the Ultrabook, mainstream laptops will likely seek to ape the Retina Display MacBook Pro, sorry, MacBook Pro with Retina Display. The clunky name aside, it seems that the next generation of devices will ditch disc drives and Ethernet ports in favor of pixel-dense displays and reduced weight. But did Jonathan Ive’s trash can get too full? If you’ve been using one, do you still ache for those phantom limbs, or is it peaceful on that side of the river? Folks, for the last time this year, we’re inviting you to share your thoughts and feelings on how you’d change the MacBook Pro with Retina Display, and from all of us, have a Happy New Year.

Question by Storm: What problems would I have buying an iPad from the USA? What problems would I have buying an iPad to from the US and using it in the UK? Would the App Store still work the same? Would I need a different charger?

Best answer:

Answer by Jeff JI live here in Thailand, and I simply purchased an iPad on eBay from the U.S. and it was delivered here in three days. I can see no limitation, or even special consideration, required for having an iPad from the U.S.A. in the UK. The current is the same here as in the UK, and I charge my iPad via an iPhone wall charger, from my wall USB hub or, of course, straight USB connector into the computer. I have noticed, though, that my iPhone charging cables with USB do not seem to work as well as the official USB cables, especially if I am buying a non-Apple USB charging cable. They still work, however, but for one cable at least, I have to turn off the iPad for it to charge up – but it’s okay for over-night charging. I use the U.S. app store, but I see that I could choose the UK (or any other) store if I wanted to (and had an account in those places). I have absolutely no problems with the app store, or the update badges (on the app store icon) or with the updates themselves. Hope you enjoy it!

How would you change the Samsung Galaxy S III

When we reviewed Samsung’s Galaxy S III in the simple, gentle days of May, our reviewer wasn’t sure it would win out against HTC’s One X. In the intervening six months, however, the Korean behemoth has battled to the top of the smartphone world and shipped 30 million of its 2012-era flagship to consumers worldwide. But what about the phone itself? You’ve had half a year to burrow deep into this device and find out what you love and what you don’t. It’s How Would You Change time, folks, you know what to do.

Same here, little girl, same here.

Thanks to Rob, who doesn’t rule anything but is still trying to build an outerspace magnifying glass big enough to vaporize earth with sunlight. That…that might actually work. Let me know if you need another lens polisher.
