Regional carrier US Cellular will be joining AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile as a provider of Windows Phone 8 devices. The carrier told PC Mag that “We believe in giving our customers the latest technology and device options and we are excited about the Windows 8 phone. It will be an important part of our device lineup going forward.” Along with Verizon, US Cellular represents increased support for the platform from CDMA-based carriers, which will hopefully lead to a wider selection of compatible handsets in the future.
