Question by galla90210: Which is better Blackberry or Droid from Verizon?
I am looking into getting a new phone and I love all the iPhone options available, however I am a Verizon customer and they don’t offer the iPhone but they do offer the Droid. It is a toss up between the Blackberry (and if so which one) or the Droid.
I like going on the internet from my phone but also want it for email purposes too.

The blackberry is brilliant for emailing and internet. it pops up as soon as you get an email but you can adjust this too.

Have you heard about the new Droid?
The HTC Droid Incredible is about to be released on the 29th and it lives up to its name; the blackberry and the iPhone can’t compare. It’s even better than the Motorola Droid (since you don’t mind it doesn’t have a keyboard).
The Incredible has an 8MP camera, weighs only 4.57 oz, comes with Flash 4 installed, handy for watching stuff on the internet. It has a 1GHz processor (comparted with iPhones 600MHz.) The multitouch screens is 3.7″ but it is OLED, described as more brilliant colors (iPhone= 3.5″ LCD). It already comes with the 2.1 OS installed. The app market has over 50,000 apps to date (20,000 increase over the last month) and over 60% of them are free. Paid apps in the Android market average $ 3.27, the Blackberry app world apps cost a minimum of $ 2.99, average of $ 8.26 and approx 3x the price for same Android and iPhone app. The incredible will have 8GB of internal memory plus micro SD slot (40GB total potential).
Blackberries have nothing to compare with the standards set by the iPhone and the Droids. However, I think you will also find the Incredible to be exactly the phone you are looking for if you wanted an iPhone and they’re the same price.
