Answer by VtotheGizzo
There have been numerous events in May that hinted the release of LG’s OLED TV, the World IT Show 2012 event in Seoul and the Monaco event. Retailers in the UK are taking preorders with the promise of a September delivery date at the LATEST. However none of this information is official so you will have to rely on LG and Samsung’s official postings for accurate release dates.

Yes and let the games begin! This is how I see it. Just like Coke and other companies, the two South Korean companies are looking to capitalise on the 2012 London Olympics. It was also a perfect timing for Samsung to release the Galaxy S3 a month before the Olympic games begin. OLEDs like the LG 55EM9600 will be priced for serious enthusiasts only. Basically it’s for rich people. This OLED makes me realize that it would better if i get the LED 3D TVs for now like the LM9600 or LM8600.
